What do you use two light bars for in the city?? Lol

I would buy a new take off leaf pack from someone who is lifting a brand new truck, and install the add a leaf, then you can swap the assembled pack.

that’s what I did. It’s holding up well. I wish I had bought Dakar’s however.

the factory packs get bagged pretty quick. The ones on your truck are probably original and 7 years later I would just buy some take offs. I paid $100 for mine.

+1 for timbrens, not sure how they help but they sure work good in the back seat of my truck

I put the Wheelers off-road add a leaf into my tsb leaf pack a couple years ago, I do a fair amount of hauling heavyish stuff and towing, (we have a farm) and I also have a leer cap and bed mat I made out of a horse stall mat (heavy) back there most of the time....and it does a good job

my research said I should replace the whole leaf pack, AAL is just a band aid, etc, but my bank account said AAL would have to do for now. I’m happy I did the AAL instead, way cheaper and for my uses I’ve not been disappointed. Sure a whole new pack would allow me to carry more weight without sagging (remember max payload capacity will never increase no matter what mods you do), but in the end it’s still a midsize truck only rated at 1200+lbs payload anyways. I’ve had more than the max capacity back there and still not bottomed out.

I say go for the AAL, it’s a super easy install, and a cost effective solution.
Remember, no matter how much money you put into your truck, it’s still going to depreciate in value faster than almost any other major investment you could make. Spend wisely.

Sorry to revive an old post... I have a pretty similar set up (TSBs and Leer Cap) and looking at Wheelers AAL. I am thinking of getting the 2 inch and expecting about 1-1.5inches of lift. Before you installed the AAL did your TSB packs have neutral or positive arch?
