OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

That's a great idea. TFL has a huge following and would be a way for OVTune to reach a much larger market than just we Tacoma nuts... err enthusiasts.. that hang out here in the forums.

Just think of the show format possibilities... OVTune deluxe kit vs Magnuson supercharger (or eventually oem Toyota TT.)

 

@OVTune are catted downpipes not possible with this kit?

Well I'm in Colorado and I actually planned in contacting them after my install to see if they wanted to do a video on it whenever that may be. Hopefully soon.

 

He mentioned a few pages back that he will eventually offer a catted down-pipe version.

With this setup I can now finally join the 2 step brap brap brap exhaust popping and exhaust flaming crowd.

 

It's already available, I dont think Mat is going that route

 

Been digging through a lot of the older pages and I was curious if there's still going to be an option to do that Twin Turbo setup while keeping the cats?
Or perhaps there's no way around needing to remove those?

I only ask as I will have to pass emissions testing in Idaho and...I still want those turbos.
Literally torn between re-doing all the suspension which cost about 5k in parts or this turbo which cost about 5k.

Current Tacoma: Bone stock TRD Off-Road 2019.

This was answered in the last two pages. Then answered like 3 more times in the last 2 pages.

 

You may still pass emissions with only one cat

 

Mat did have a few up for sale for testing but nothing since the SEMA release of SC by competitors. Just hoping once the dust settles on the TT option he will look again at his SC release - otherwise URD would be a likely option with a downfall of no Tune by Mat without forking out additional $.

Which bring up a good point. WHERE THE HELL IS THE FEEDBACK FROM THOSE WHO PURCHASED THE SC UNITS MAT SOLD ???

 

That’s what I was thinking as well, but I guess we won’t know until someone tries it and gets an emissions test. I just don’t want to risk it since my truck is my daily driver.
