Toyota generally doesn't. Well Corp Toyota generally doesn't, but they have in the past. They bought that million mile Tundra off that cattle ranch in Texas to dissect. I think some dealerships will buy a vehicle to show in the showroom or something. But thats the auto dealer not the auto manufacturer

 

makes sense, it's good publicity for the dealership that buys it and puts it up on display. Being able to display a 1 million mile Toyota to the local public probably helps sway more than a few people on the fence to buy a Toyota
