It holds the front to rear cross-member that supports the motor and transmission mounts. The I30s come with some of the SE suspension parts..

The real 4th gen car outside of the U.S. was named the Cefiro.

I would need to see it. The leather is softer on an I30. The headrests are adjustable. You must be seeing the faux wood trim.

All of my 4th gen Maxima's have been SE models with black leather, white faces gauges, bose, the 4 speed auto, and an exterior color of paint indescribable with words because it is in between every close color enough that it isn't any color

That's the same body style of a Maxima I almost bought in 2000s. I always thought those looked very sleeeeeeek. A perfect sleeper car, if one chose

I've had two SE 5-MT both black on gray. A 95 and a 99 model. I still have the 99 model. I've only owned Black or Maroon 4th gens.

The wood panels on an I30 can be replaced with the solid color ones from a Maxima and vice versa.

This looks very similar to my folks old 97 Camry. I think it was 97. Super comfy plush ride

I'm almost forgot a Maroon on Black 97 model SE 5-MT that I bought with a bad clutch as part of a rescue operation. As soon as we got it into driving condition, it quickly sold to one of my son's buds.

    I've had five 4th gens.

95 - Black on gray SE 5 MT -- Texting Driver rear ended and totaled it.
97 - Maroon on Black SE 5 MT.
98 - Maroon GLE (auto VLSD from an I30t) with the SE suspension mods -- on steroids. Reliable daily driver.
    99 - Maroon I30 Base - being retired -- after being t-boned.
99 - Black on gray SE 5 MT suspension modes. Reliable daily driver.

Sounds cool! Let me see if I can get out of working that day. Otherwise I think I'm free. All the kids don't get here till the 26th, so that's when we'll be doing Christmas.
