I'm starting to look into a 6" lift but won't be purchasing for a while. I currently have a Dakar HD leaf pack in the rear for roughly 2.5" of lift. If I'm going to be lifting the front to between 6-8" and the rear roughly 6.5" could I just throw a 4" block on my Dakar HDs? Or would it be better to just buy a pack that will give me the full 6.5" of lift. 100% will not do 6.5" blocks. Also considering installing traction bars in the rear.

Anyone running 6" lifts with leaf packs only, or combo leaf pack and blocks?

Guess I'll just be donating the leaf packs to a friend and getting 6.5" blocks and traction bars. Lol

2-3" on your dakars should do it, most 6" lift kits is just an add-a-leaf with a 2-3" block.

I'd only bother with traction bars if it plans to leave the pavement.

More than 6" is rare, and really it's time to buy a full sized at that point.

    Dogbone.

I've always wondered why would you do more than 5-6 inches...

    But then again.....

Have you looked into shackle reversal kits. They could give you the extra lift you are looking for while retaining your current leaf packs. I personally would sway away from going with too big of a spacer block because of the effects of spring wrap increasing.

The goal is 37s lol. I know you can stuff 37s on a 3" lift but that looks stupid in my opinion the same way a 6" lift looks stupid to some.

I've thought about a shackle lift. I installed a shackle lift on my previous truck and it turned out great.

Definitely leaving the pavement. Planning on kings front and rear. And towing a 20' boat behind it.

FFS, you have so much disposable income, and you want to tow a 20' boat behind a Taco. Just buy a Tundra bro.
