Judging by your pictures it looks like you are spraying the paint as a single stage? Can't tell from the pictures but does the paint have the pearl flake in it too?

Nah I sprayed all of that 2 stage. The lighting and pictures aren’t the best quality nor is my painting ability, but there is no pearl in it. I believe that’s just an effect of the lighting in the room. There was some dust settled on the pieces by the time I shot some of the pictures though. Possible that’s what gave it the effect you’re seeing

@Kerby J Autobahn and European for the primers. matrix base boat, refinish solutions clear coat. They’re good products so far. It’s what a lot of the body shops in my area are using.

Y’all ever seen a yellow taco? My high build primer has this buttery yellow color. Kinda funny.

Nice!! Can't wait to see it. There's a lot of people on eBay that sell vinyl stickers. I've e-mailed a b+w picture and theyve printed it for me.

Looking good! Nice to see the engine bay painted too. Cement grey on my 05 tundra, I decided to not paint under the hood though

I had a the imperial jade color and I felt like it would clash too much with the blue if I hadn’t painted everywhere. Do you have any pictures of your tundra to share? I love the cement color and wanted to paint mine that color but decided that my oak interior would look better with cavalry blue.

Still a fair bit to do interior wise. And yes the color would of clashed for you, this truck luckily was phantom gray so it’s not too bad.

That turned out so nice. I love how simple that color looks from a distance but gains a lot of class as you get closer and closer.

Yea it looks simple till you get close and see the metallic in it.

@CBoy808 hooked me up with a decal set and some custom bedsides. I haven’t installed yet but the stickers are very nice.

I’m probably going to go the custom route. I’ll worry about later though. Still a lot of other work to do, this truck was a rollover and pretty neglected

That's actually a really good way to put that, about the color. I've struggled with trying to describe how/why I like it and that's exactly how I feel about it too lol. Well put:D

It’s finally blue! It got a little too cold to spray my clear this evening like I planned, but it’ll warm up enough to knock it out tomorrow.
