I was thinking a 5 gallon bucket with lid or maybe a junk cooler would be durable/sealable to keep shit from flying away

yeah that would work, anything to keep it sealed that can't/won't tear open is good. Or one of those 45 gallon cheap storage totes from Wally World. I use those for my tools and camping supplies

I was like you guys have the best Cruisers in the world and you guys are crying cause you didn't get a 'Frankenstiened -4runner-hilux surf-Tacoma-fake 40 series Cruiser wannabe look alike' , FJ CRUISER???
    :D:rofl:
FJ Cruisers are cool I guess, just plenty of better choice Cruisers down there much much suited to life in the land down under

Yeah, I was like 'all those suckers buying $400 coolers for camping and I'll be just fine with this $5 one from Vons'

turns out I was not fine with it, not in the least

I totally would take you up on that but I have to get rid of some coolers first, I have like 6 coolers on the side of the house right now and I only use one of them regularly lol. Wife keeps telling me to get take them to goodwill but I know once I do that I'll end up needing 6 coolers for some reason and I won't have them anymore

yeah those are the ones I have now, Igloo and other similar branded ones. I've ended up with several because more than once I've set out on a trip and thought I'd just need one cooler, then realized I needed two so I buy another one on the go. Also I have to use a low profile cooler because of my bed rack so the space in them is pretty limited.

My buddy last night brought his son and daughter in law to buy a van from us.

He asked if I had 1,000 rounds of 9mm I can spare; I asked, only 1,000?

Grabbed a tub (because I'm not going to count out ammo, I'll just bring the bin it's inside of); well now I'm forcing him to take 2,000 rounds.

It's on my truck's seat as we speak...here at work

Always nice to have something to be able to give away or sell dirt cheap to friends/family.

I sold the M1A SOCOM yesterday..... Freaking Utahns are such cheap mfers. Everybody has to get a hella deal here. Tight wads. But gave the dude way more than I should have with the rifle..... But that's okay, it all comes and goes
