Random blinking with map lights

So I got some Meso ultimate map lights in my 2019. I've noticed that whenever the doors lock or unlock, they blink ever so dimmly. Is that normal? If it's not, anyone know a fix for it?

 

Did you disconnect the battery prior to installing the map lights?

That I did not. I'll give that a try.

If you did not you may have fried something. Its in the instructions I believe and multiple people have had issues not disconnecting the battery.

 

Mine didn't come with instructions. Just a sticker from Running 4 Tacos. Fried something in the map lights or the truck?

I don't know if thats your issue or not, but it's been known to happen.

 

What would get fried?

 

Electrical components in the switches or on the same circuit etc.

Do you have a link to this? The MESO map lights are essentially the equivalent of changing a light bulb. @MESO

 

I've linked a few examples and also posted a screenshot of the man himself asking about disconnecting the battery when changing out the lights.

You'd think turning the switch off would be enough? Picky electronics. Will disconnecting then reconnecting the battery fix it? Or is it a coin flip?

Ya, that did nothing. So what's really broken or needing to be fixed to get this taken care of?
