    yes

That is what he quoted me.

taxes are capped at $500 in my state (South Carolina); they do add a $499 processing fee (ugh).

now I see how Toyota makes all their money; $3000 above invoice seems like a big markup for MSRP to me

anyway, they also add Toyoguard and the tire upgrade

it ended up being a $2000 discount or so; I wish I could take him up on it

I’ve seen supposed “invoice” fluctuate from dealer to dealer, they can tell you whatever they want you to think it is. Best is to stick to 10–12% off MSRP for our trucks.

i found a website that lists the invoice price for each trim level.

the problem is they add all this stuff I don’t want like Toyoguard and claim they can’t undo those add-ons.

Just be careful because even those vary. And ya the port installed options suck. I’ve bought in every region and they all do it some dealers will play ball and take them out of the price. Good luck.

So, question for the more experienced members out there. Is the Toyota website inventory search ever useful? I remember in oct when the 20s first started showing up it was noted it wasn’t accurate but someone said it takes a while. Not quite ready to buy tomorrow but still searching semi-actively for the combo I want and the inventory tool seems useless. Doesn’t show which dealerships have a particular truck. The combinations it shows as available in my... state?... region? are more often than not available. Options not listed as available on the website I’ve personally seen at the local dealership.

I also was disappointed by the Toyota website. I finally called my dealer where I bought my last two Tacomas. The salesman said he can get any Tacoma from any other dealer by trading. Well, that was good enough for me. He found the Limited I wanted a couple states away. It took almost a week for it to come in. They gave me what I wanted for my '13 Sport and the rest is history. I'm now the proud owner of a 2020 Tacoma Limited. Good luck with your search.

Sounds just like what my dealer did for me. Traded with a dealer in the next state for my Limited

Can someone clarify this for me? I tried searching through the Toyota website for military rebates as I am finalizing my deal before picking up...

If I don't finance with Toyota, my military rebate disappears. If I do, then I get a $750 rebate. Not sure where this fine print is but it would save me 7 bucks a month to equal about 400+ bucks in savings paying off for my truck (with Navy Federal). I just want to make sure I am given no BS.

Um... the MSRP is wrong for my area. Starting msrp is 34,000. The site says
"TRD Off Road4WD TRD Off Road Double Cab 5' Bed V6 MT (Natl) $32,733 $35,335"

And the toyota inventory site seems pretty straightforward but you REALLY have to play around with the zip codes, etc. I will say this though, I was creeping on "my" truck, the vin the dealer gave me to go along with the order I placed, and he said they were going to mark it sold in hopes it would make it be expedited a but from the port (location at the time) to them. A few minutes after he said that, the truck disappeared from the inventory search. Why they didn't mark it sold sooner I don't know, but that's how it's gone.

Forgive me if this was covered already, how long does it take to actually build the truck. My estimated build date was 12-19-19. Just wondering when it hits the train station.

Also the, for lack of better words, Toyota ordering/allocation system is more like a dictatorship. You get what they put out when they put it out. Been trying to get a Tacoma built wit technology package and LED HL but without the premium package since 9-5-19. They dont make them anywhere except the Pacific Northwest (I'm sure some special situations apply). Finally found one in the initial allocation phase where my dealer could trade with a Pacific Northwest dealer and have it shipped to the midwest. Talk about a hassle. Credit to my dealer he warned me it was going to be a long road.

Available here in AZ, although not in large numbers. Seems most of the LED headlights here also have premium, a few are the premium nav (ie cloth seats and seat warmers) and a couple rare unicorns of just headlights and tech, though not in the color I want or in 4x2 which I don’t want.
I’ve also seen the “unicorn” model on dealer websites in states around me incl Colorado and California so hopefully that supply increases

I keep getting conflicting information, if you get the premium nav package with dual climate control, does it have heated seats? I have dogs so I would rather have cloth, but the wife has to have heated seats. Does anyone have that configuration?

Pretty sure premium package gets you leather, heated seats, dual zone auto CC, JBL and a moonroof. Only way to get heated seats is to get everything else with it.

There is multiple pkg now. You can get cloth and heated seats and duel climate. If you add leather which is next pkg it also adds sunroof
