    About 20mins away

It's right off the 68, and the 68 begins at the south end of my small town.

Guess who's FEQ axle has a cracked boot :rofl:saw it last night.

It's small but I think it'll get bad on the drive up tomorrow. Gonna bring my spare and try to swap it out at the house we're renting up in Santa Cruz.

Made that drive plenty of times during the week; I went camping multiple times during the summer so I wouldn't doubt that you saw me.

I took my bed rack off and RTT (BY MYSELF @eon_blue :luvya:) just 2-3 months ago so you'll notice it only by the tire gate and Powertank in the back.

@Wulf IF YOU'RE QUIET ENOUGH,YOU CAN SLOWLY HEAR THE CV BOOT TEARING :rofl::rofl:

In seriousness though, how did that happen? That one clawed you? Not quite 'all the way done' yet? For lack of a better way to describe it

It's splitting right after the hose clamp, not where the fins might rub each other like what usually happens. Odd, though this axle did last longer before splitting than any other aftermarket one so I still think FEQ is a decent brand to go with. Gonna put the OEM reman on this time though and see how that one does

I have two OEM boot kits sitting on the kitchen table right now. But my old inner boots are CVJ high angle and might not work as well for the boot slide method.

Was going to say, if you want, I can let you borrow the CV clamp tool to reboot.

I bought it after Tyler had linked it some time ago and it's still new in package. Just ship back once you're done.
