I think they are all future proofed. Mine (first batch) only had the extra wire that was taped off (almost not noticeable) but I think @MESO added the actual connector on one of the later batches.

Edit: Couldn't find a picture with the taped off wire.

I found it easier to remove the speaker and not mess with the plastic stuff at all

I did the speaker upgrade w sound deadening so it was necessary. Plus made it easier to zip tie the wires out of the way of the window

@MESO I really can't wait for these to drop and if you could do a solid for the nightshift workers and release them in the afternoon instead of the morning (unlikely to happen) since I work nightshift I slept through the Thanksgiving drop :'( every night and morning i go to my truck to go to and from work I keep imagining the ground all lit up since I would need these daily for my job.

Stew, will we need to purchase separate switches for puddle lights, or will one switch operate both puddle lights?

Nice , I have the same layout.

Unfortunately I’m on call for the next 3 weeks so the install will have to wait . :frusty:

It doesn't take very long to remove the OEM cubby and the switches, but the bed light switch is alittle bit different compared to the rear window switch and aux power switch. For the bed light switch removal, after you lift the retaining tabs you push the switch inward. The other two switches you push outward.

I won't know the day or time it gets released and it will be sold out in 10 mins of it releasing like the last drop I never had a chance :p I mean unless I wake up every 5 mins for my 6 hours of sleep I get but I would probably be dead of sleep deprivation by the time they come out

I know, I’ve removed it a few times. I would really rather do it 1 more time once I get the puddle switch. Lol.

I currently have the SDHQ panel with the Switch-Pro. Can’t wait to have it flush mounted with the Meso panel.
