Is anybody running a 17 x 9 wheel with a 3 and 1/2 inch backspacing

 

I found a good deal on 35s on 17 by 9 inch wheels on Craigslist and I'm tempted I'm getting them but I need to know what the where would look like on my taco and if it will rub or not

 

3.5 might. Check the 35s threads. I think ideal is 3.75-4.25

Yeah see I'm running a 16 by 8 with a four and a half inch backspacing right now what the problem is is 35 inch tires in a 16 inch expensive

 

For some reason 35 inch tires and a 17in are cheap I found four brand new Toyo mt for 680 bucks

 

17s are the new 16s, that's why. I'm running 16x8 with 4.5 backspace 0 offset. You've seen my fender cuts, but you shouldn't have to cut much on your lift. My alignment specs are this:


For you, I'd try to run more caster than mem and with a 9"-wide rim, I'd run a big spacer probably. You're going to run into issues (probably) with your upper control arm and lower wheel well area, too.

 

I think @ChadsPride might be! I know theyre an aggressive offset
