    Ok. I have a piece of black walnut from the 60s. My Dad cut the tree, had a sawmill cut it and planed it. It's the last piece that I have. I'm going to make a scraper, and I don't want to f it up.

    was damn good. Couldn’t finish it all so will have some for breakfast with some fried eggs tomorrow.
    The regular one worked great on the grill grates. The curved one I didn’t get a good feel for as the grates weren’t quite dirty enough but I think it’ll do the job just fine. I usually use 2/3 of the grill with grill grates for my sear and then the other 1/3 for the cooking of steak so I don’t have a lot of scraping room. But I’ll report back once I do a bigger cook on there
