Daytime pics are always difficult to draw meaningful conclusions from, but if you compare the lights you can clearly see the upper/lower separation in the modified light vs the unmodified light, meaning the uplight from the lower light has been capped.

There are actually many in this thread that don’t drive Tacomas or even Toyotas, so your not alone. :)

That's why I like this forum and this thread, no disrespect to other brands, just all here for the best lighting for our applications. Now if we had one on winches lol. Have my hidden winch plate in just saving for the actually winch now. One mod at a time.

Some what adjustabed them. Had to run, for food lol. Looks like they upwards light has been cut down a good bit. Still cant wait on Crashnburns analysis.

Edit, the trucks not level, so lights look off. Sloped down to the passenger side of the truck.

How do you feel about the output now compared to before? Do any driving?

Edit: looks like a pretty hard side cut off. Might have to modify the filter to get rid of that

I had thought that would happen when looking at the new optic filter.

Right. Why wouldn’t they just leave the sides open? It’s an easy modification to make but you’ll burn your warranty doing so

I ordered a set of those last week. Now I’m feeling I might regret it. I liked how bright they were before.

Yeah. I ordered from Rago. They have a return too. But still hoping they look better in person. I was so close to buying the KC gravity

I wonder if BD will allow people to return them that bought them at the original launch. This kinda changes the entire product

I was waiting to get some feedback from someone that put the fix through its paces at night before going that route. I really wanna like them, I have THOUSANDS in BD lighting but they’re making it awfully hard to like these

Good point. I just want selective yellow and brighter than factory fogs.
