Soo. Should I rebuild my own calipers and have them powder coated or just get powerstops?

 

Depends what color you want, if it's red, just get Powerstops

Rebuild is always cooler. If it's between something you can buy on Amazon or rebuild, rebuild ALWAYS wins

 

@cruiserguy I tracked that whirring/grinding noise to the lower radiator area near the fan. Still can't tell if it's one of the lower pulleys/belts or the fan itself in that area...the sound increases/decreases with RPM - goes away if I throw it in neutral and rpms decrease suddenly. So it's definitely engine speed related so I'm thinking fan or belt.

Belts are relatively new and so is the fan...replaced both fan and all new belts a couple years ago but I guess that doesn't mean one isn't the culprit. Definitely not a 'dirty' belt sound, it sounds like a light metal on metal rotating noise. Gonna do some searching on here and see what I can come up with to check

Water pump? Those can make horrible sounds that change with rpm. May not be leaking either.
