You seem like the raptor type. Get a raptor bro.

And I love the internet. You never hear anyone walking around saying errr mah gawd I have so much disposable income. 1. If you did you wouldn't have any friends. 2 you would likely get shit thrown at you. 3. You look and sound like a douche.

Also disposable income is a stupid term. It's never disposable. Invest that shit in real estate and retire early.
    /end rant dogbone.

Good lord there’s a lot of butt hurt going on in this thread. Y’all are acting like children.

OP, If you want to do it, do it right. Get a custom leaf pack from Alcan or deaver for however much lift you want. Don’t get blocks since you plan on towing. Trac bar and a new driveshaft with double cardan joints or a one piece shaft as well so you don’t get vibes.

0% to do with freedom to build a truck however a person, in the greatest country in the world, wants to build it. 100% to do with arrogance. Personally jack it on up in my opinion.
Edit: I am not able to change the world nor am I worthy. I can however use random ignorance for my personal entertainment.

What kind of lift does the trailer have again? Just match that for the truck.:boink:

Ok, I'm just fooling around, Doc.

Here's what I heard: 6.5 lift, 37s, wanting to tow ~3500 pounds on the regular. In all seriousness I think you are going to regret it if you go that route.

With a lift that big you are eating up a lot of power, getting the engine to turn that much unsprung weight. Throwing a bunch of money towards a regear helps, but mileage still suffers. Towing on 37s, I hope you like stopping for gas every 100-150 miles.:spending:

Really think about what role you want the truck to be. Do you want a magazine cover worthy mall-crawler, do you want a go-anywhere 4x4, or do you want a tow pig? The truck gets to be one of those things. Modding towards any one of those categories will sacrifice ability from the other.

If you want it all, keep the truck as is and buy a Rzr XP turbo for the fun stuff.

When I had my 6" lift I ran a 3" block and a BDS Colorado add-a-leaf on stock springs. Worked great off-road, towed my camper (22', 4000lbs) fine. Tiny bit of axle wrap, but not detrimental at all. Flexed great.

Without a rack, tent, gear, and a fridge in the back you may get away with a 2" block.

I thought the OP answered the question of why quite honestly. "because I want to and (paraphrasing) I have the coin to do so, so why not?

It's Dogbone that has me perplexed. Who is this? Reminds me of Snakes in Home Alone...…….LOL catchy name.

This is exactly what the plan was from the beginning. I'm looking into a bullet proof lift and they come with new full leaf packs and traction bars.
I was already planning on swapping out the drive shaft to a double cardan even on my 3" lift.
Thanks for the suggestions. Appreciate it.

You know magnuson released a super charger .... maybe I can be two of those things instead of just one like you said :spending:

Also I'll still have some 33s wrapped around 22s sitting in the garage for the occasional weekend mall crawls.
