I am.......but I still have some oem clutch life left and more importantly I’ve spent some crazy dough lately. I need to put the brakes on for a minute.

Alright guys. Working on installing my front Pelfrey bumper while I wait for the exhaust gaskets to show up. I knew I would have potential issues with the intercooler pump and my Smittybilt winch. I test fitted the bumper, saw it needed to be moved, so I "flipped" it on the mount. Now it sits above the mount holes, but it's still not enough. I either need to move it up more, or over towards the driver side.

    Any suggestions?

Mines over in the circled area. Think I cut one of the hoses short and flipped the one coming from the heat exchanger. ECD1D8F8-D666-41D0-AAD4-09EA6F4094EF.jpg

Perfect. That was my plan too. Already pulled the hoses and was going to go look for another hose to replace the shorty from the heat exchanger.

I don’t remember exactly what I did. I know the one coming from the resivoir was shortened. Think the other was shortened slightly and flipped? It looked right when I did it. Everything works fine on mine

I cut off the bracket in the middle and then welded it to another piece of steel to hang off the passenger body mount in yellow. My light bar and other connections were in the way in the red circle. I just extended the lines.

Thanks dudes. This is where I'm at right now.

@wrmathis you're right on flipping and shortening of the exchanger hose. And then just shortening the reservoir hose.

so i learned this..... if you have the combo of afe momentum intake, with the front intuction, AND a csf radiator with the fj shoud and tank. i had to use 3/4" extensions on the overflow tank AND use a heat gun to remold the intake to clear the lid. pita but i did it. if anyone goes this route and needs further help pm me.

Cool. Glad that worked for you. To me this was the easiest thing to do with the winch. Didn’t have to go figure out a hose from a parts store to get it to work.

Got it all done. The new location for the pump works perfectly, just flipped and shortened both hoses. Bumper is on. Winch is hooked up. Tomorrow I'll do the gaskets and start doing some Datalogging for the HP Tuner.. then go time. Need to test out all the new goodies!
