With keyed ignition, if the fob portion is destroyed, you won't be able to start the truck either. :notsure:

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
I second that comment, looks like some kind of thread repair, not Loc-tite.

I'm 3/4 the way through my SDHQ hidden winch mount install. Probably 6 hours in but that included a stoppage for dinner, catching up on the latest episode of the Mandalorian with the wife and a visit from a coworker. Down to cutting the bumper skin and drilling 2 holes for the side bracket then it'll be time to put everything back on. So far it's been a pretty straight forward install. Operator error is the only thing I've ran into so far...

And that operator error was on the control box relocation kit, the link was dead on SDHQ's website for the install instructions so I called them and asked them to e-mail them to me. That slowed me down for 2 hours waiting and trying to figure it out from their youtube video. Then once I had it mounted I realized the instructions were in fact in the bottom of the box...lol Luckily I had it on right but it took me some longer because I had to stop and think through everything.

Thanks man. I debated for a while myself before I just went ahead and did it. I’m happy with the results.

Looks very suspicious to me. Usually Loctite would be on the threads, and something like Glyptol applied to the head but only to mark it to indicate tampering or being loosened.

Looks good man. Thinking about going with a scooped hood eventually myself. How much did that run you?

With much joy, I finally got around to installing the Ironman 4x4 suspension on my Taco. Really pleased with the quality for a budget suspension.

I installed my Anytime Camera. It’s a great system, but I’m disappointed in the quality of the front camera. I would love to recommend this to others but man that front camera is just not good. I uploaded a picture of the front camera, and for comparison the view of the stock rear camera. It’s just too blurry/fuzzy.

I thought I was the only one! I did this mod 2 weekends ago and couldn't believe just how terrible that front camera quality is. It's barely even usable.

Part of me wonder if it's the skinny ass wires they use on that camera. I swear there's only like 3 strands of copper in that wire.

The good thing is cameras are relatively inexpensive. I don't currently have one installed but it's in the plan and I've been thinking about this one.

Whole family is down with the flu. So, I can’t be out in the shop working on the armor. Was able to put these in real quick while they were sleeping.

    Blue Ridge Gear:
    • MOLLE Panels- really like these. Fit great and have a rigid panel to make them sturdy. And keep my kids feet off my seats.
    • Dump pouch- for trash, especially from the kids.
    • Canister pouch- to hold my thermos of coffee.
    • Attic storage- great for holding ball caps, jackets, etc.
    • Visor Molle- not pictured, but will be handy for my sunglasses, insurance papers, multi tool, etc.
Storage is limited in the truck and I like these additions to better utilize space. I’m 5’8” and didn’t have any issues sitting in the back with these additions. Nothing was “in the way” and I was comfortable. Anyone 2+ inches or taller, might begin to have issues though. Luckily, it’s just my kids in the back and/or my dog. So no worries there.

Thanks! it wasn’t a cheap mod but trying to locate a hood swap deal for a white truck just wasn’t happening for me. Parts cost around $600 and having it Painted/matched was around $900

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    PakRax Tailgate Insert
Does what it looks like it does, give you a flat surface for camping. For the money it was a good investment. Powder coated Alum for $116, hard to beat.
@state48overland has them, makes a nice stocking stuffer.
