As much as $ will allow
I have a Mountain Hatch and they have some 20% discounts on certain colors. What sold me was the beer/beverage slots.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I just wanted a flat piece of alum for cheap. This did the trick, unless it’s a deep beverage holder that would hold a Nalgene then no dice.
This one came powder coated for $116

Looks good man. i'm planning to go same route. For some reason, I thought the hood comes painted from factory.

Did the kicker speaker upgrade and Subaru tweeters just now. It really like 5 minutes per door. I was surprised how fast it went. It sounds a ton better now.

It looks great! If you keep it gloss black, you can wax it and it'll be easier to keep clean. I would keep it glossy black. Don't be like everyone else. Stand out!

That's scary. I'd wash that stuff off quick. Several times.

Yep the temperatures rose above freezing for 2-3 hours today, so I ran the truck through a touchless car wash with underbody sprayers. Had to wait in line for 40 minutes though as there were 10 vehicles ahead of me.

Fine if you're at home and can just go to the secret drawer in your house and pull out the spare, but if you're 100 miles from home you've got to hope the fob has that last little bit of juice left in it to activate the ignition when you hold it close to the button. I don't believe it will work with a 100% dead or missing battery. Of course as already pointed out, the combo key fob key which contains a chip required to activate the ignition can go south as well and I don't know of a work around for that other than the spare key. This really is a weak point for the electronic ignition system.

I'm replacing my Subaru's cabin filter tomorrow. Don't want to flex the glove box plastic when it's below freezing...

I would rather have a flat hood with the decal you have than a faux hood scoop like mine. No, not interested in trading it because it is too much effort, but I like what you’ve done very much. In addition to not liking the look of my scoop, it is tough to see around it on difficult and steep trails.

It’ll be gloss for at least a few weeks ... I’ll see how I still feel about it after that. It’s not gonna match the OEM Pro hood decal I’ve already purchased though.

Found a nice Phillips impact bit that stabbed my rear passenger tire... thankfully the tire warranty at 4 Wheel Parts covered it.

Replaced with a new tire same day without any hassle. Only had about 5,000 miles on the KO2s and happy I didn’t have to buy one.
