Oh, nice! Illinois! I've never been there before. I mainly stay on the west coast. I'm a Respiratory Therapist at a level 1 trauma hospital/teaching hospital, OHSU. What about yourself? What do you do for work?

Korean Zombie vs. Brian Ortega on the feet or on the ground could have easily been fight of the year contender.
I was hyped for this fight but I wasn't even interested after Ortega dropped out, I just had a feeling it wasn't going to be a competitive fight.

Illinois that bad? What tourist attractions do you guys have there? I used to work in a warehouse..shipping/receiving for Gerber Gear. Ended up doing mainly freight shipments when I was there. I've been kind of all over the place for careers. Warehouse, military, microelectronics, health field. Already thinking about going back to school to get my masters in another field in the health industry but I'm getting too old

Not even a theme park? Water park? I'm wanting to switch up vacationing on the west side. And yes! I was mainly a shipper but was crossed trained in all area. I miss trying to drift on a standup fork lift and racing down the aisle in with the electric pallet jacks lol

There is a Six Flaggs around Chicago. Magic Waters in Rockford.
I drive stand up power equipment with forks to hold 2 pallets. Sound familiar?

Dana White: "Conor will fight anyone anytime".

Yeah right, anyone except for Tony Ferguson, Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, Kamaru Usman,Tyron Woodley, Jorge Masvidal,
Robbie Lawler, Rafael Dos Anjos, Leon Edwards, Anthony Pettis, or Stephen Thompson.

Dana has said "Conor will fight anyone anytime" in several interviews, I added the rest.
BTW, I know Conor beat Poirier at 145 six years ago, but I think it would be different story at 170.
Conor has also said that he wants the BMF belt so he should be open to fighting anyone at 170, not just dipping his toe in once in a while.
Let's see if he gets passed Cowboy first..

I’d agree, Jeff. We all know Conor is a good fighter but we also all know that, apart from Khabib, the wrestlers he faced were on short notice (at least for the wrestler) and he keeps his mouth shut about Justin and Tony. Then again, maybe he is smarter than we give him credit for. Tony and JG would eat his lunch. I think Conor is using the Cowboy fight to get back in the limelight and to ease back in. He has to know that he’d get destroyed at 170 by the elites there so 155 is his only shot because I can’t see him making 145 again.

That was exactly my point about Poirier, now versus back then.

I have to disagree about Conor finishing Cowboy. Cowboy has about 50 MMA fights which is approximately double the amount of fights that Conor has, so it's understandable that Cerrone has more loses on his record, but with loses comes experience and if you look at the level of fighters that Cerrone has lost to it's literally a murderers row of elite fighters that Conor has never faced, such as Justin Gaethje, Tony Ferguson, Robbie Lawler, Jorge Masvidal, Rafael Dos Anjos. Any of those fighters could destroy Conor at 170, and the fact that Conor didn't call out any of those fighters tells you that he probably feels the same way.
Since most of Conor's wins are against midgets compared to the fighters that Cerrone has faced, I have to say that Cerrone has a massive advantage in experience..
The point is, Cerrone has lost to guys that Conor is in no hurry to fight, so I have to go with Cerrone.

I hope you’re right but I suspect the UFC fed Conor Cowboy because they too think he is declining. Cowboy hasn’t looked his best lately but I’d love to see him retire Conor, I just don’t think he will.

The UFC fed Conor Cowboy but I think Conor's first choice was CM Punk :D

Ha! :). I think they had to give him someone with cred but this could be a dangerous fight depending on which Cowboy shows up. Cowboy seems to not be his best when he needs to be. I’d love to see him finish Conor but suspect he won’t.

you and me both brother. I just don’t see cowboy dictating the direction of the fight. He’s gunna get pulled in to CM’s game and he’ll most likely get sniped with that counter left. But an upset would warm my heart like no other.
