I've been here all of 20 minutes and my MIL hasn't stopped talking the entire time, going to be a long ass week

Lol, that would be hella annoying! Waste a bunch of time on something not even for your pleasure and then not be able to do it in the end?! And deal with driving on the roads the weekend before Christmas?! Yeah I would've been hella harrowed

Just photoshop up a convincing label and stick it on some dollar general wine. Wont be able to tell the difference when their drunk.

 

And my wife's aunt and uncle are coming and they're both hardcore AA nuts, sober for ~20 years. So of course they judge the ever living hell out of me lol. I had a beer at a restaurant we all ate at once and they started telling everyone (behind my back of course) that I drive drunk.

Yeah I'm used to it. Personal story time, I used to be in the program too over 10 years ago. For about a year. Not for alcohol though, but same sort of thing. But after about a year I couldn't take the constant rhetoric anymore and stopped believing that I needed to spend the rest of my life punishing myself for some stupid decisions I made as a kid...and also it's highly religious even though they like to say it isn't. And that I don't do. No offense to anyone in here that might be in the program, just wasn't for me.

Anyway thats a short version of a very long story from 10+ years ago, but I'll be dead and buried before I let her aunt/uncle know that or I'll never hear the end of it lol.

I do too, but the general population goes into total chaos as they struggle to find anything remotely flammable to toss into the fireplace for warmth
