    For me the 12 days of Christmas is absolutely the worst song ever made that is played on the radio. I actually count down the days till Christmas music stops in stores.

    I like Burl Ives. His voice was strong but not obtrusive, he sang everything clearly, on key, and was easily understandable. If not for Bing Crosby or Nat King Cole I would probably say he's the top guy for traditional Christmas music.

    if you've ever worked in retail like I did as a teen, all of them. It never failed by the end of the 2nd day you were ready to listen to Michael Bolton, Richard Marx, Lisa Loeb, LeAnne Rimes instead of fucking Christmas music.

    It’s become too commercial and the real meaning behind it has been lost. It’s a holy day not a holiday. I’m not big on receiving gifts either. I’d rather people donate to charity instead of getting stuff.

    Agreed. I come from a big Italian(dad) Irish(mom) family. Now that my grandparents are all gone it’s different. I just never was into Christmas ever since I was little. Family got together every Sunday for dinner so we were always with family.

    You lived in Hawaii for how long? It would be weird to me being able to drive around with the windows down and/or the A/C while listening to Christmas music! I’ll bet some people in places like Hawaii and parts of Florida listen to Christmas music on their boats while they’re fishing and waterskiing!
