    There is an oval shaped hole on the upper driver side of the 6 speed trans of my truck. I think it is for inspection of the flywheel/ pressure plate. It looks like there would have been a rubber cover there at some point, but I don't have anything there now.

    A few questions:

    Was there ever a cover there? What would you call it? What's the part number? Is it really necessary- seems like having one would quiet a little of the noise from there, but mostly I am concerned about salt/ water/ dirt that enters during the midwest winter.

    I'm a first gen, on mine there is a boot there. I wouldn't want that open. I'd check one of the online Toyota parts dealers, you'll be able to get a part number from that.

    The picture in first post is a google image, not even sure if it's a tacoma. The link in the first post is to picture from the clutch master hydraulic internal slave upgrade for the squeaky TOB.

    Hmmm I'd bring the research in and show Toyota and say I need this but correct year if different plz. I'm sure they can find it.

    Not sure what you are showing here- I looked up those part numbers. The one on the bottom (31101-35010) is a metal cover. The 90019-a0165 is a bolt and washer. I still don't see anything pictured or with a part number that matches the rubber cover for the RA60F
