It is ok to have multiple vehicles if you can swing it . Think of it as the right tool for that particular day. When it comes time to sell one it’s easier to find a buyer as well . Unless your in Hawaii. In that case you would have no problem selling a truck like that.

lol not sure if you know or not but I AM in Hawaii.

But yes this truck will be my toy. No plans to drive it daily once it's built up.

I paid cash for my truck and my two other vehicles. We may have a different opinion on what’s high paying, disposable is BS. Saying stuff like that makes you look dumb. $100k/yr is not high paying, especially if you live in Hawaii.

Just sounds like a money pit that could be better invested for the long haul, but hey knock yourself out...Should blend right in in Hawaii

Lol the boat is a "waste of money" to some people as well but to each his own. Life's too short not to be happy with your purchases. I get what you're saying, and some will agree, unfortunately you and I differ in opinions on this matter and that's 100% okay.

Yep. I save first, have a cushion and spend the rest. Do you and be happy, it's the only way.

This is the goal. But with a narrower stance and more tire to wheel ratio of course.

How about maybe shackles and the Dakars? Not super sure since I haven't used shackles before but that seems like it could get you the lift you want while still using only the leafs.

BTW, want to send some of that disposable income my way? It IS disposable, after all:D

I work hard and long hours of over time and side job to have this "disposable income". Most people on this site can't fathom being able to afford thing without having to save up for a year.

I wouldn't make ANY assumptions about "most people" on this site and what they can or cannot afford, with disposable income or otherwise. You might be really surprised. It's too bad you have to work so hard for your money.

Since the plan is 5.29s anyway is a super charger just overkill?

I know what you mean, I'm a firefighter in northern California and during fire season working OT isn't an option haha. Granted on OT I'm only making like $22 an hour but at least I'm working for 3 weeks+ at a time, 24 hours a day. (And then the state sucks up about 1/4 of it...)

I'm only 22 though so I'm still trying to save up for a house, but I gotta have a little fun with the truck too for the time being right?

Then why? Just why on earth would you install a 6" lift? This truck doesn't produce anywhere near enough torque to justify traction bars. Even without them, you likely wouldn't feel much axle wrap. My concern would we with the towing on blocks and the resulting spring deformation. That may eventually lead to additional axle wrap. You've made it well known that you have deep pockets, but you're entering into a whole new world of self-induced spending.
