I have a 2017 OR and I’ve had a issue that’s gotten worse from 19k to the 23,600 on the truck now. The original dealership changed the rear pads. Issue went away but got worse. I had the drums and pads replaced a week ago and the issue came right back. I just took my truck to another dealer. The vibrations happen pretty much right away after starting to drive. I was blunt when I set up the appointment that it’s not a brake issue. The girl taking my information said she didn’t see a tsb that matched the one above for my truck ( vin# falls in the ones mentioned on here) and then said it would be $132 to diagnose the truck if it’s not warrantied. I said it’s a 23k mike truck and it will be warrantied. Anyway , I’m hoping the tech who gets it is decent and knows their shit so they go forth and gets things done under the tsb.

I had to fight hard with a dealer but they finally checked the specs on the axle and they are out of spec. They Ordered two new axles and will be replacing them next week.

    Hey TW,

I just noticed this issue starting today. Am I correct in assuming that if my vin number after the # is H that means mine is affected?

Looking at the affected numbers it mentions anything after #KMXXxXX are not affected.

    mine is #HMXXXXX

    thanks!

My 2022 has vibrated from 30 to 10 mph since I got it. Read a few post about the tsb and leaf spring swap. Some said vibration went away after around 1500 miles. Some post said tsb w new springs didn't fix it.
So I took it in for annual service (1 year, only 6,000 miles) and dealer checked the tsb (now including 2022 models) and ordered parts. Installed today. Seems to have eliminated 90% of the vibration. It was noticable from 30 to 10. Now I can barely detect it from about 25 to 20. If I never drove it with the vibration I'd likely not notice it at all now. It's very faint.

Hey everyone, so i just purchased a 2019 Tacoma SR5 in November. 14,300 miles on it. I had it a week and noticed the vibration when braking around the 35 -10mph range. It's not the same every time. Sometimes more noticeable than others. My question is will they fix it even though the original warranty is expired? Is a TSB the same as a recall? I did also purchase the extended warranty. Thanks for any info.
