the screw in the middle just did not want to hand feed properly and its a very tight spot in there
maybe it will be easier once i get truck off the ramp that wheel is up on

i may have a line on family help to remove the bed on my truck without having to get a towtruck + trailer to haul it from the mechanics back to the place to work on

my cousin from Kansas visited last night and said my uncle (his Dad) is still able to do some mechanic stuff, on Fords, but could probably lend me a hand if i throw him some gas money, a 2 hour drive it is for him from north Kansas.
He is 82 years old and has been a widower for a little over a year now
is it right for me to ask an 82 year old to help me out with this?

you worry too much bro. I suggested this not so long ago.... enjoy the truck, sure - take care of it but enjoy it. its a truck, not a Mantle Rookie card. Don't stress yourself out.
