    They say there’s a Daily limit of 5 gallons at most places, but I haven’t come across anyone that’s actually cared yet. I’ve dumped mine at auto parts stores, or the local recycling center

    Food needs...history vs today...not much has changed
    Categories, dry goods (flour, sugar, salt, etc), milk and cheese, fruit and vegs, meat.
    Shops, dry goods store, delivered by milkman, green grocers, butcher
    You knew the venders so you could ask what was good and they earned your trust

    Today, small and large stores, prices and selection, food travels distance requiring preservation, and genetic/selection to remain edible, limited ability to find info on food choices. But selection is large, prices are low, and convenience is easily available. You can pickup a ready to eat meal at any time.

    This process has happened it seems with almost every phase of life.

    I just send the wife and I watch the kids. She gets a so called break and can shop in peace without any of us throwing random shit into the cart cus we are hungry haha. this also makes me look like a saint for "helping out" and i usually get rewarded later in the evening lmao!
