Anybody else experience noise coming from the dash? Its like a rattle type noise from the passenger side when the truck hits a bump or flexes and I notice it only makes noise when its cold (Im thinking the temp has to do with shrinking and expanding of some plastic or something maybe?). I push on the dash and it stops. Not a huge deal but its driving me crazy!

It’s the passenger b pillar rubbing against the dash

I tried fixing mine twice with sticky back loop tape. It slides off in summer heat. Gluing on some one wrap or non-sticky back loop tape with crazy glue or similar is my final hope:

Right on, but A pillar. :D

The turd gens are notorious for rattles. They come from the door, speaker, pillars, between the dash and windshield. Just all the cheap plastic they use

No. They are not side to side dependent.

The A pillar is the windshield pillar, B is behind the front doors, C is behind the rear doors, and D is the back corners if in an SUV or minivan.

That makes sense. Thanks for the lesson, I was never good at homework. Haha.

No problem! I always sucked at retaining shit from classes and lectures. Fucking reading things three times over and practicing multiple times until the light bulb finally flicked on was my only hope.:rofl:

I've just noticed this noise on the passenger side A pillar on my truck within the past few weeks, once the temps dropped. Seems like it goes away after the cab begins to warm up. However, the noise is annoying for those 5-10 minutes.

I ended up breaking the outboard vertical tab when taking the vent cover out, later on found out taking the a-pillar cover off first works better and after reposition that cover it lessed the sound, or it just needs to get cold enough to start rattiling again.

    Yup, that's an apt comparison.

I did this with crayon. @tonered already answered just thought I would add visual reference. :D

Yes. This only happens when cold.

You cannot get the grille back in with the pillar trim in place and not scratch it badly. The pillar trim comes off and goes back in like a dream though.

Please confirm that you ate the crayons after you finished. That is the only correct way! :anonymous:

BBP or CB (aka Denim!)?

I always thought Cornflower was a badass blue when I was a kid and was bummed that it only came in the expensive 64 packs.
