Doesn't make sense. Not...the same words? I don't think you quite get how to quote things.

I MAKE BIG MONEY. I PUT ON BIG TIRES. I TELL LITTLE MAN HOW I'M BIG MAN.

Some weird flexing going on in here.

Anyways...... From what I've seen with the 6" lifts they are pretty intrusive and require cutting the sub-frame. That's not for the feint of heart. I'm sure there's a list of additional parts needed too; I believe extended brake lines were mentioned already. You may get some drive line vibrations and you may need to re-gear to get your power/mpg back.

I don't really know. I have no lift.

The flexing was only after the whining started about how he spends his money.. Some people spend more effort worrying about every one else’s money than they do making their own..

    To paraphrase what you said:

    Did I do it correctly?

I'm entitled to my opinions as much the next guy. I'm of the mindset that 37" tires and a 6" lift are among those in the latter category. Call me old fashioned, but I like a vehicle that doesn't have tons of problems that arise in the future from unnecessary over-modification.

If you build this truck the way you’re picturing it, it’s going to suck on-road, suck off-road, suck at towing a boat and suck gas.

I know, I've been seeing that mentality a lot. Pretty weird attitude to have in the auto enthusiast space IMO.

I'm pretty sure there's a guy at my apartment sometimes with this lift. It's got 20"+ wheels and it's a 3rd gen Sport trim. Looks pretty much stock other than that. Not my cup of tea, but I do wonder what he's mobbing in downtown Nashville. I just hope these types of builds aren't behind me because I don't even want to know what their braking distance has been increased to with the 600lbs of un-sprung weight.

Lift it real high, but add some power so it’s not a slug. It will look slow, but hide a v8 TT:amen: the bulletproof suspension 12” lift is legendary. It’s your build, so make it your own. Big power big lift.:burnrubber:

Edit: is the boat a bass boat, hopefully ranger or triton?

the only guy I feel sorry in this thread is the firefighter who said on page whatever makes only 22 bucks an hour in Northern California on Overtime... WTF? Yet when I was just in San Francisco the fast food places were advertising for help at 16.50 an hour. This world is F doomed.
