I’ve always been partial to the ARBs because they’re so beefy...deer nor pedestrians stand a chance :D:rofl:

For anyone looking at these, sizing can be strange for some Arc'teryx rain jackets. I wear a med in all rain jackets and my Arc'teryx atom insulated but my Arc'teryx theta is a small and fits me perfectly and I still can layer under it. I'm 5'10 and 175 athletic build. So it's always a coin toss on the small to med. With them for me.

    Errything has a fake.

But when brand new with tags shit gets posted for sale... more than likely there's some sketchy stuff going on. If they legitimately bought it, they could return it. But they are probably scared that the same store is waiting for someone to return the three brand new jackets that walked out the door.

Cool story, we had an epic recovery at Windrock. Might as well have been a whole state away, the truck was like 2.5hrs away from camp. That when I realized how big that Offroad park was.

I remember my theta coming with more tags than those in the pics. Not saying they are fake, just an observation. I have ordered stuff from sierra trading post that were probably factory seconds that only came with the one tag like in the CL add so that may be something to consider also. Mine direct from arcteryx (warranty replacement) came with all these tags, similar to this pic.

Camping over xmas, I'm willing to bet not many people will be out with you so you will probably already be away from everything anywhere you go haha.

I blame the recent discussions on batteries for jinxing my shit. It seems mine is about to kick the can. Kind of annoying considering it’s only 2ish yrs old, MY2017 truck.

Factory battery? If so I guess you’re yet another victim of shitty OEM battery life.

Yes. Honestly wasn’t aware of poor OEM battery life. Haven’t contacted the dealer but I probably should. My truck only has just over 25k miles.

edit. I just noticed my ‘trip meters’ reset since parking when I got to work today. WTF

Yeah, there’s been a few threads about the OEM batteries taking a dump fairly quickly. Did the battery ever actually die or you needed a jump? That might’ve caused your trip meters to reset. I know my 2nd gen does that if the battery gets too low and/or disconnected.

Nope. Never needed a jump or been disconnected. That’s why I’m not sure what caused the reset.

Oh well. I guess 2yrs isn’t too shocking for a battery. The OEM battery on my wife’s Subaru is still going strong and it’s a 2016 that she has def killed a couple times leaving her lights on :annoyed:

I’ll be going to the dealership tmr AM. My warranty covers the battery up until 36k miles.
