The master cylinder was a freak occurrence...

I slammed on the brakes to avoid rear-ending a Tahoe in the snow; About a mile and a half later when I stopped at red light, the master cylinder jammed and clamped the calipers down. I had to call AAA and get the truck transported to the dealer via flatbed!

I had a Master Cylinder failure on my very first car, I slammed on the brakes at a red light and it felt funny, by the end of the day it had almost no pressure.

I got lucky; My brakes got stuck in the "applied" position...

It could have very well gone the other way!

This magician from Texas taught his daughter how to escape from a straitjacket and made a child-sized one for her...

I'll bet there are a lot of parents who wish they could put their kids in straitjackets at times!

One of my favorite villain vehicles from an animated Disney movie, after Cruella's car of course, is Bill Sykes' "CaddyLinc" from Oliver & Company...

I call the car a "CaddyLinc" because it is referred to as a "Sykes' Cadillac" on the Disney wiki, and incorporates a lot of design cues from various Cadillac models of the 1970s and 1980s, but it looks like a Lincoln Continental Mark V overall. The movie was made in 1988 and takes place in New York City in the same year. The car's year was somewhere around 1978-1985 in my opinion. The car was shown towards the end of the movie to have a console-mounted gear selector for the automatic transmission, instead of the usual column shift that real life Cadillacs and Lincolns had. If the car is to be considered a Cadillac, then it was equipped with the super rare AstroRoof sliding sunroof. The car is black with a black leather interior, and the radiator grille looks like it came off the pimpmobile in Superfly. Sykes smoked cigars in the car, so I can't imagine it smelled too pleasant. The car was totally destroyed in a fiery crash (and Sykes was killed instantly) after a head-on crash with a speeding subway train. I'm sad for the demise of the car, but so much over Sykes' death...

I do not feel like watching another movie tonight, so these pictures have been taken from the Disney wiki and the IMCDB website...

Pretty accurate recreation of a 1985-1987 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham stretched limousine, from Oliver & Company (1988)...

The gang of dogs (based on Fagin's gang from Oliver Twist, with the titular character represented by a cat of the same name) stages a car accident where one of them pretends to get hit by the limo, and then the Chihuahua on the back bumper in the previous photo attempts to steal the limo's radio while the chauffeur is distracted; Oliver accidentally turns the ignition key, which causes the windshield wipers to go haywire as seen below, and almost electrocutes Tito the Chihuahua who is in the process of chewing through radio wires...

Background vehicle from Oliver & Company, supposedly a 1976 Buick Century...

1980 Dodge Diplomat (again, the movie took place in New York City in 1988, so most of these vehicles weren't that old at the time)...

I've heard of that movie and know the car, but I've never seen the movie though...

    Definitely see the resemblance!

It's been many years since I last watched it, I think that one guy that used to do muffler commercials was in it.
