My local Costco had it for around the same when I was there last week. I could only justify one bottle at the time and got the $30 Basil instead

 

Forgot it was Christmas weekend and got stuck in horrible traffic with crazy drivers. But I made it to Spec's and it was worth it.

 

Local store had their “select barrel” of Knob Creek single barrel on sale for $40 and free samples. The one with the store name labeled on it . After my second sample i said I would think about it but I had to look at the other stuff first. I was then informed that it included a jar of Luxardo Cherries. Can’t turn down a decent priced bottle with a free $20 jar of cherries.

Bought an orange on the way home and enjoying myself by the fire.

I looked for the Costco brand Kirkland today when we made a trip, but couldn’t find any. Maybe it’s just the time of year they aren’t carrying any?

 

Christmas came early for me last night......

 

picked up the lastest chapter finally. After going into the spirits store by my office twice a week for the last 4 months. I have it.

I had a coworker give me Little Book 1 after he heard I was on the hunt for 3. so I've had a great fall

 

Visiting family for Christmas. Stopped at a couple liquor stores along the way and these two piqued my interest. Have had The rye before, not the Bulleit.

 

Scored another bottle of BPEC B519 for $54.99 at Costco

 

I've had a lot of luck with total wine and more. Blantons, McKenna 10, bookers all at correct prices

 

Beat my price by $5

 

The only total wine I’ve been to regularly is Jacksonville, FL and they don’t have any rare or hard to find bourbons. And the prices are about 15% higher than what I get locally. There is one in Columbia, SC which is only an hour away, need to check that one out

 

There are huge inconsistencies in chain stores. I visit a couple different Total Wine locations in Phoenix. They seem to keep different stock. We also have BevMo here, which are even more inconsistent between locations. One doesn’t have anything at all interesting, but I found a reasonably priced bottle of Bookers at a different one...

 

Does anyone have a line on Garrison brothers Bahlmorea or Cowboy bourbon?

 

Not good..usually the good stuffs at the customer service counter here in CA.

 

Visiting family in Virginia for Christmas which means state owned liquor stores. Just picked both of these up, one for me and one for @4x4runner2002
