I actually originally planned on going both yellow and switching a pair to clear lenses to get the 4000k, maybe I’ll see if I can change them and go ahead with that.

I’ve never run amber/yellow lights of any kind so for day to day operation I don’t know that I’d care for it as my eyes are pretty particular when it comes to light at night, but for poor weather if I have to fill pockets I might as well put one set it

I had never run yellow either until I installed the Ss3 pros last week. What a difference it makes out here in the country when it comes eye fatigue. I have driven a lot over the last couple nights and it seems so much easier to focus longer while driving. I wish I had used yellow years ago. I also didn’t realize how much more I was able to see especially the kamikaze deer.

That’s why all my other lights are BD it’s amazing the difference driving with 5k compared to everyone else’s 6k+

The mount is from Rago Fabrication. The set of selective yellow I own is from @crashnburn80

It's the pre production he used for testing. For a great deal on the Rigids I would hit up @sidetracked Best deals out there. Install was easy with the Rago mount. Just have to make sure they are level as you tighten the main mount. Much better than the Rigid mounts by far, those are a pain in the ass.

Edit: just saw you have a 3ed gen. That mount won't work for your year. Take a look at these. Didnt see the mount separately, but I'm sure the sell it without the light if needed.

It’s so true what they warn of when you join Tacoma world. I drove an 2007 Tacoma for 7 years, my only mod was a tonneau cover. Then I joined TW. Now I’ve driven my ‘19 for 12 months and can’t stop modding it. I keep looking over this thread and wanting more. Thanks guys! Lol

Sounds like 2020 will be a brighter year!

Posted in 3rd Gen, but here was some preliminary testing of the KC Pro6. High beam comparisons are against 3rd Gen.

Crash do you have any temperature data for the Rigid 360 fogs? Curious to see how they do with that exterior domed lens.

Well so far I've noticed the cut off is better with the retro kit but still has some upward light. Will still light up signs above the cutoff and above my hids. I dont think they look bad with the retro kit installed, looks like 4 little robot eyes to me. Still stand by and say Rigid or Diode Dynamics. Has anyone got some of the BD sae lights with the fix from the factory? Wondering if it's just the lens or have they changed something else on them.

The fix is the same. They said they might consider revising the optic depending on feedback on the fix.

Look at Rigid 46566 for the mount by itself:

I have them in stock, shoot me a pm for price, thanks!

Installed the SS3 PRO Versions in 6k white, I didn't get any night shots but I checked the ring cam and I screenshot me backing in earlier. The photo is at an angle but gives an idea of the width. Im definitely looking forward to CrashNburns official review of these fogs. The photo my low beams were on they're morimoto 2stroke LED bulbs.

You can see a review of those Morimotos in post #2120 below. Not one I would recommend. Hikari, Sylvania and Diode Dynamics all have better performing designs with the landslide lead going to Hikari.
