Before I get my ass handed to me for this post. YES I searched 100+ posts but can’t find an answer to this. (Might have missed it. ( If so my bad) if I go with a bistsein 5100 2”lift and and AAL on the rear (I only want 2”total lift) and I have 265/70-17 duratracs (love them) tires on a 2017 sport with factory rims can I run 1.25” wheel spacers? I removed mud flaps as well as the crappy air dam in the front with out rubbing?
And again I went threw tons of posts and can’t find a straight answer.
thanks again and please keep the research crap down. As I said I searched but maybe did not word it correctly. Anyway any info would help.
    cheers

I have a 2017 Sport, stock wheels, 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks, 1.25 Spidertrax spacers with no lift. I had a slight rub on hard corners but it was easily remedied with a heat gun. No more rub. You will be fine.

It's the rims, the TRD sport rims have poor backspacing, the offroad has +25 and the sport has +30 makes a world of difference.

Try marking where the rubbing is, cut or gently melt with a heat gun.

Run around your house with a 10 pound weight and tell me if it is easier to carry close to your body or a little farther out from your body.

My truck went straight from dealer to shop to get lifted. Really wanted that aggressive look but want to keep the sport rims. Put on 285’s and I was rubbing the UCA at full turn. 1/4” inch spacer and I’m good to go!

The rubbing happens at the bottom of the wheel wells. If you lift it, the bottom of the wells will be above the point where the tire can rub them.

The reason you couldn’t find a straight answer, is there isn’t one. There’s way too many variables at play for someone to definitively tell you if you rub or not.

that said, you’ll likely be fine. At most have to trim some plastic with a razor blade
