Does it need to be colormatched or can it be chrome?

What was so disappointing about it? did it come out defective? feel cheap? not fit right?

....the reason I ask is because I was planning on buying one for a satoshi from there and have read nothing but good reviews from the ones that come from partsgeek.com.

I C...thanks for the heads up!

Theres also partstrain.com. A bit more expensive but I've purchased a front fender for a different car and it fit well. I guess it depends on the manufacturer of the part.

I hate to drop the "DO A SEARCH" bomb on ya... but I don't have time to look it up right now.

There was a dealer somewhere in the East that was selling OEM grille's (colormatched) for $175. I don't remember the details, but I think the OP was Linwood. I bought one and it showed up quick and in good condition.

If you need a chrome one, I'd sell ya mine, cheap!

I've heard terrible things about partstrain.com and I would never shop there. The grill I got from partsgeek.com was perfect and by far the least expensive option out there. It comes exactly as advertised, it's unfinished plastic and the front facia and rear grill come separate. It's the same as the stock grill, just don't expect it to come as a finished product. Mine was a perfect fit.

Mine was fine, the fit and quality were the same as OEM, as best I could tell.

I bought one off eBay, black for 44$ and chrome for 54$. I ordered the black and it is nice, feels just like the chrome one on my trd 08. I'm bout 3/4 way done satoshing it. It was missing two of the 15 tabs that it has and they gave me a 40$ rebate so I got it for 4$+shipping. You might want genuine Toyota but I wouldn't pay for it, I'm 100% pleased with quality of mine
