That's exactly what happened to me recently, and they still sent me the wrong rack. Now I have 2 unused racks and waiting for the 3rd lol.

Does anyone have a DCLB with the second rack on the cap? I really want to pull the trigger on this (x2) but I want to make sure there isn’t a substantial gap between the cab rack and the cap rack. I currently have this, ARE cap with nomadic rails and cross bars and a cheapo Wal-Mart basket up there

Every time “we” as a community chose to buy a Chinese knock off of a US made original “we” make it harder for the real innovators to do business.

Yes the US product cost more, but that’s because they employ US workers using US steel/aluminum. Your choice.

Thanks mom that's an awesome soap box you have there. By chance was your phone or computer made fully in the USA by US workers using USA sourced materials? Was the coltan in it mined in the USA?

@jimlmackjr , do you have any suggestions on how to mount the cap rack using the rails I currently have on my cap?

I haven’t measured the distance between the rails yet, however I really like how yours is level with each other.

Looks like your rails are ab out the same distance apart as the factory mount areas, I wonder if you couldn't just use the same feet with the Tslot things from your old feet to attach it down.. or make some new feet to adjust for the distance discrepancy.

They are in line (the cap) with the cab rails, maybe 1/2” wider total.

no guarantees that any of the US companies are using US steel. Big assumption on your part.

I'm not paying for something that is overpriced. The Prisu rack is over priced, the victory 4x4 rack is waaaaay overpriced, the other one that just came out with the adjustable wind deflector (cant remember who makes it) is better priced ($500 iirc) but I had already purchased the hooke road and am happy.

That's a silly comment! More than the 90% of the products are made in China these days! There is no way that you can escape from buying Chinese products one way or another... Unless you are living like a Caveman on the peak of a mountain!

I am not suggesting you can avoid buying Chinese products, however the roof rack this thread is about is a knock off of the Prinsu design rack.

You spend your money where you want but I will support American innovators rather than Chinese knocks offs every time I can.

Did you read the comment, my phone was not made in America because no one makes phones in the US.

Spend your money where you want.

made a lengthy reply, but realized it would just derail this thread even more than you have. Start a new thread bud. This one is for people who are interested in this rack. Not your political commentary.

Sorry I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to give my opinion of this product in this thread. Enjoy.

I for one am not disagreeing with your post. I will however add that we all own and operate a foreign designed and somewhat manufactured vehicle.
