Looks killer but your cv boots don’t look pretty. For a softer ride, you will probably need 600lb coils as the 700lb coils will make the ride even stiffer. It actually needs to be lowered a bit anyway. Is that a spacer or just their thick top hat?

Just remembered you mentioned the 2” threads showing. I suggest removing some of the preload. Start off with 1.75” or even 1.5” of threads

Another good day in the books! 83 miles of Grand Staircase-Escalante back country BLM roads. 7+ hours without seeing a single other vehicle.

It was a great day, saw more cows then people. Truck performed perfectly, BFG KM3s ate up all slippery (dangerous) mud. I want to do it again already!

Installed Victory4x4 Molle panel in truck bed yesterday—picked up Black Friday sale. Pics to follow....
For those who don’t give a damn....my avitar and “runnin with the pack” comes from a memory while still wearing the uniform of the US Army back in the 70’s......A time I don’t remember, a memory I’ll never forget.

Came with MGM topper. Added FJammer stereo. LED Bed lights on AOB Flux Capacitor Switch. Added AOB Spy Mode switch for TBD lighting, stay tuned.
Lately I've been bothered that my key has stopped opening the passenger door. The key that's on my wife's ring seems to open it, but her's looks nearly as worn as mine, so I went to the dealer and got a new key cut. They were able to look up the key code which they kindly printed on my receipt and they cut me a new key for $5.
Would have cost me $3 more for one with a Toyota logo, but they were out of stock.
Now I just need to make a couple copies of this one before it gets worn and I'll be a happy camper.

It wraps right over the wheel and tucks into the spokes.

Yeah mine's a 14. These were plug and play for me because @JdevTac did all the footwork for them. Checkout his thread here for more info: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/frs-seats-in-2013-tacoma.488639/ Hopefully the Metactech4x4 website will get back to stocking that OCS bypass, otherwise I'm not sure what you could use to replace that.

There top hat, no spacers are on the truck. I had OME 887s and 886s on 5100s bottom clip setting and it still rode like a dump truck. My idea was with a 700lb coil I could remove preload and it may soften it up since I have almost 200lbs up front and it would allow less preload ?

I have the guys info who made the OCS bypasses that MetalTech sources from. I made a post about it in another thread, I’ll have to find it. Basically cut the middle man (no offense to MetalTech) and go to the source.

No idea if the guy is still making them though and maybe that’s why MetalTech has been out of stock for a while.

    Edit: see my post #18
