    I read through this entire thread, and no one seems to have installed the L59-112-R leaf springs... or has anyone? I want to purchase these as they seem to support the most weight and may be more reasonably priced than the Deaver stage 3 leaf packs... chime in, someone? K thanks!

    Hey Mike, I was wondering, I have extended travel rear shocks and I'm wanting to put in a 1.5" or 2" block until my stock leaves (I have a 2nd gen) start to wear out. At that point I'll make a choice on a full leaf pack. Will I need extended brake lines/E-brake cables to be able to use a block this size? I just don't want to lose my brakes when I'm off road, or even on road for that matter. Thanks!

    It really depends how long they are. If they're made for up to 2.5" of lift like the Dobinsons are then they should be fine without any brake line changes. E brake cables might need to be addressed on how they're supported by the side of the spring so they don't over extend too

    Yeah as of now I just have stock brake lines. I guess I could install the blocks and jack up the rear to see if I need new lines. I can probably fab up a little bracket for the e brake lines where they attach to the leaves... So you guys have extended lines? Or am I misreading your post

    Crikeymike, which leafpack do you recommend to match up with the OEM pro lift kit? I also have the weight of my bed cap, I have the TSB leafsprings and they are toast, hitting bump stomp on the smallest dips/bumps in the road.

    Also is everyone ordering Dobinson lift parts from MLO? I only see whole kits listed on there website.

    No I'm the shortbed Trd Offroad. I would venture to say the cap is atleast 200-300lbs. Its a leer 100xq, with the stock tsb 4 leaf pack it sits on the overloads. Not much to go off of because these yota truck leafpacks are so soft.

    The Off-Road suspensions are soft, yes. They're meant to be driven off-road. Sports are quite a bit stiffer, don't know if that would have made a difference in your situation or not.

    Just to point out the differences, and for fun. :D

    I just measured my truck I'm only at 21" from center of the wheel to the edge of the fender flare, stock leafs sitting on both overloads front and back and negative arch on them as well.

    I agree, sport is still soft IMO. My aunt had a TRD sport and that thing had so much sag when carrying weight or her camper was hooked up with only a 200# tongue weight. Its just how Toyota truck suspensions are. My truck originally had the 3 leaf and I had the TSB performed which upgraded to the 4 leaf and that's crap also.

    Maybe its that East-Cost treatment....

    Hmm. My hauling experiences have been just dandy, but I've never gone more than a full day with a bed load of stuff/having a loaded trailer hooked up (in this truck). Maybe the leaf quality is just like a lot of other things about these (wonderful) trucks, so different from truck to truck its got everyone scratching their heads.

    Must be my truck from new has never handled any load well. I wouldn't tow anything more then my until trailer with this rig. It's just not what they are meant for Imo. I bought a 2500hd for pulling my camper and the hauling duties. My aunt traded her taco in for a z71 Colorado, hauling same camper as her taco did and no negative arch and 1" squat, nothing like the taco. These trucks are just geared more towards off-road performance.

    For sure, those Tsb leafs don't even have that many miles on them to boot.

    Based on what you have, I'd suggest the L59-111-R rear springs. https://exitoffroad.com/product/dob...air-for-toyota-tacoma-2005-to-2019-l59-111-r/

    And I suggest new bushings and u-bolts at the same time
