Wanted to say hello and thanks to this great site...I manage a Citrus operation in SW FL that is way back in the woods with the nearest gas station 23 miles away. I have put 110K on an 84 SR5, 125K on an 05 Tundra and recently 138K on an 07 Tundra 5.7 liter. It was time to purchase a few trucks for the farm and give my mechanic my beloved 5.7 liter for his running around duty's and pickup a new truck for my foreman and myself. My foreman wanted a Tacoma access cab for its size and I talked myself into getting pretty much the same truck but in double cab variety...

But since I was giving up a lot of truck with the Tundra and rank has its priviledges I went ahead and added a few options :) ...My hope is learn from you brave folks who do daring things to their rides and have a little fun in the process...

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    .

I went from a 2007 RCLB 5.7 Tundra to a 2009 DCSB 4.0 Tacoma and am very happy. You will love your Tacoma.

Have had many Toyotas including 2 Tundras and 2 Tacomas and none have let me down.

Enjoy your new Tacoma and this great informative site.

Welcome:) you oughta call Toyota and see about doing a commercial with them-your story is all-American and worthy material IMO.
