    Not bad man. These trucks can really handle a lot. Not to thread jack, but here's some pictures of my 2001 loaded down...

    Nice! any pics of the space between the bumpstops and frame? I loaded mine down really good once to where there was about .5" of space there with my Wheelers 5 leaf springs!:eek:

    Hell yeah buddy-that's a load! You got more to go too! I was just trippin because this truck behaves so well and when I got out I thought it was funny as hell that it sat like it was empty-and not to mention the weight of the shell on there!

    Ya man that's a good point...that shell has gotta be a good 200 pounds plus I bet. Did you have to deal with any hills?

    Yeah this place is all hills-you could feel a little pull on the engine but it did well (I suspect you can tell I dont haul too much) but I think these trucks do a helluva job doing what they are made for.

    Absolutely. The 3.4 is strong. I was accelerating faster than an unloaded dodge dakota when I had the rock loaded up.

    No and the truck is empty now. What would that show? I estimate that rear end went down about 2" from normal.

    Someone here can probably explain it better than I can but basically that just shows how much the bed has dropped with added weight.

    Ok I am so proud of this truck-I had no idea these trucks were so strong! My stepson came up woefully short on supplies as he progressed landscaping the front yard so we doubled up on this trip. 1830lbs!!! It still behaved so well even though you could sense the weight-smooth as hell. FIRST GENS ROCK I say:D

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Wow Frank! Becarfull doing that. The rear end isnt a floating axel, and you can get a leak in the seals if you carry too much weight.

    Wow thanks Chris I didn't realize that-I won't do it again. What do ya mean by "floating axle" can you explain so I know?:)PS I was real easy on her I didnt push her all the way home-I hope that helped
