Apparently you did not realize that Tacoma has all of these features? Are you just mis-informed or trolling?

As for the plastics.. if you like the cheap glossy look more power to you, to each their own! Why we have choices, right.

Your obviously new to Toyota. First year 3rd gen is 2016 and up. I owned a 2017 and had severe issues with the transmission. Toyota didn’t care and said it was normal. Look up OVtune on TW and you will see many happy customers because there fixing a problem Toyota refuses to fix. Though I hear the new ones are better. Who said anything about Ford built tuff?? Fords are well known to be crap vehicles in the past and some current. Stop making stuff up.

Please show me the Toyota app that remotes starts your Tacoma from your phone or watch. It doesn’t exist. Apple car play is something Toyota just put in and was missing from several years 16,17, and 18 I believe.

The 2020 Tacoma has some sort of App to start the truck from the phone, saw something about it in the 2020 thread.

Your happy about shiny things which is what a ford goes for. Tacoma doesn’t need shinny things and extra buttons to attract people. You buy a ford for the new tech that always breaks you buy a Tacoma for the long run. Is there no such thing as a ford ranger forum?! I swear people get so pissed off about reading the complaints about how shitty the rangers are they have to come back to the Tacoma forums to try to convert happy people to misery. Misery loves Company.. I wouldn’t trade my Tacoma in for anything on this planet. I could of picked anything when I was in the market. And guess what I chose? I love my truck it’s done everything and more it’s been asked too! Your happy with your Ranger congrats. But I wouldn’t trade my Tacoma for a Ranger and $10,000. I love the looks I get in my truck and love having confidence off-road and on road! Each to there own but I have a feeling your going to find a lot of people around here disagreeing with you that your truck is superior. Like going to A football game and trying to convince the horn crowd the visitors are better.

    1) I think you need to start paying more attention to posts when you reply. The Ranger is from 2015 as it sits in your drive way (If you really did buy it), what we got in the US is nothing more then minor cosmetic change from the international truck that released in 2015... easy to google.

    2) Ok cool, here it is: Toyota Connect
Oh.. just for your next question... yes Tacoma has it: Tacoma Features

Just for the record Voodoo blue is sexy as shit! I love my cement but I do get a 1/2 chub every time I see a Voodoo blue. When I get my FJ I’m going to be hunting for a Voodoo blue

Blue is my favorite color, however when I first pulled up and saw it I was not sure.. the one I saw first did not have the black-out package and was not sold on the color but once I saw the one I eventually bought I was in love with it.

I originally went down with the intent to purchase the Tacoma in Quicksand till I saw my voodoo blue one.

Using the Toyota app, you can start a Tacoma from your phone or watch as well. Plus you can check stuff like tire pressures, engine oil level, fob battery level, etc.

    1) Dude Ranger is new to US this year as in 2019. Yes it’s been oversees but not exactly the same. Is it he same engine as overseas no. And I’m talking 2019 Ranger with new updates vs the third gen 2016.

    2) Awesome Toyota finally got with the times and updated there vehicles with some tech. Looks like it’s a 2020 only option. Maybe older trucks can update it?

That’s awesome that’s been a big complaint with Toyota always behind the times especially the previous few years when the Corolla had more tech then the Tacoma.

Nice. With that grille detail it looks like something a guy draws on a bro’s cheek after he passes out after five more drinks.

Toyota isn’t worried about the new shiny toy that will break after a few days of playing with it. They focus on the toy that has been around for years and still works Just as good as the day you got it and can pass it on to your kids to play with it.

Ram looks nice but you after 3-4 years everything starts to breakdown. If you are lucky and got a a reliable truck, it can last longer. But more than likely it will spend significant time at service dependent and cost a fortune once warranty expires. When you buy a Ram, you basically flip a coin and hope everything works. This is true for all FCA vehicles but vehicle with more components like ram and grand Cherokee are more prone to issues since they have more equipment/components to malfunction.
