I am also toying with the idea of offering a stage 3. This would be the baddest of the bad consisting of V6 triton extremes throughout the entire tail lights(4 red + 2 switchback)
Or an “upgrade” kit for existing customers that Have stage 1 or 2 and want the brightest brake lights on the market.

VLEDS is by far the best LEDs around. Meso uses all VLEDS.
HUGE difference running and brake. When you brake, people behind you will notice.
Since putting in V6 Extremes on all 4, drivers stay back or jerk when u brake. It gets attention for sure.

 

I have new Stage 1 in one truck and Stage 2 in my other truck so an upgrade kit would be great.

You’re saying that now...once you get one, you’ll get hooked and will want more bright lights, then brighter... Just get the stage 2 or wait for stage 3. But if you can’t wait, just ask if you can just get the wiring harness and get the VLEDs V6 triton extremes (4 reds) and Triton switchbacks (2) and you’ll get the brightest in the whole galaxy far, far beyond....

I went the stage 1 route and now have V6 triton extremes reds and triton switchbacks...if and when velds come out with V6 switchbacks extremes, I’ll probably upgrade again?

 

I can't stand overly bright lights people ride around with. Bright is great but I definitely don't need that look at me stuff.

It's to keep you from getting rear ended. The lights gets washed out when running lights are on and when you brake or turn signal. It's even worse in the day. The bright LEDs gets attention you brake.

 

To each his own. I don't think a brighter light is gonna lift a head from that phone.

 

Extremes throughout? Do you know when the switchback extremes are coming out

 

If brighter lights do not stop them, then you are screwed either way.

 

Correct which is why Stage 1 is plenty for me.

 

Stage 1 is great. Noticeable differences in running lights and brake light brightness.

The larger brake light sections are more visible and the amber turn signals are very distinct and bright...plus the reverse lights are so bright now I can actually see what's behind me on my backup camera screen.

Easy install for stage 1 kit. Overall can't go wrong.

Thanks for the resistors love how small they are. Made mounting them easy.

 

Got my resistors installed, noticed that with the hazards on and in reverse only the amber light up. It this how the resistor work? And they were a lot bigger than I thought they would be. Thanks for the prompt shipping.

 

@MESO - any update on Stage 1 kit availability?

 

This is normal. The switchback bulb can only do 1 color at a time. In this case, the AMBER is priority. This is a small trade off for having a double color bulb.
The resistors are installed to prevent hyperflash(turn signal flashing faster than normal)
