Minnieolas will soon be in season. Cross between tangerine and grapefruit. Better than the best naval oranges.

 

Just gotta be careful whoever owns it doesn't use some kind of crap on it that makes the fruit inedible. Growing up my dad used a kind of pesticide on the peach tree in our backyard so we could never eat the fruit, I never understood the point of keeping a fruit tree alive if you can't enjoy it

Oranges and I got plums and other stuff growing on my other trees.

Remember telling ya about my father in law and the garden?...well its because of him that I've got all this stuff growing.

 

I totally know what you're talking about. We had a mango tree when we lived FL.

I had to put out so many pesticides to keep the cinch bugs from eating the grass that I wouldn't eat the fruit.

I remember December and January being orange and grapefruit harvest months in FL. Fresh squeezed was dirt cheap during those months.

My father-in law had a Carambola Tree in his yard down in Miami.

I loved sitting around out in the Lanai and eating that fruit at Christmas time.

 

My wife loves grapefruit but I can't stand them...only citrus fruit I don't care for really. Way too bitter for me
