Ordering a 2020: Accessories Question

I am in the process of ordering a 2020 TRD Off Road 4WD from the factory. Based solely on price what factory/port of entry installed packages/accessories are a bargain and which are expensive relative to aftermarket solutions?

 

Why not find a truck like you want it on a lot so it’s easier to negotiate. That’s just my opinion. Unless you want some weird combination I would look all over the country and find the one you want and do it that way. Merry Christmas.

 

The led headlights for under $500 are a no-brainer. I also like the factory trifold tonneau which is only available if ordered on the truck due to different bed rails.

 

I agree with this, I just bought a 2020 TRD OR, and I was able to find exactly what I wanted. There were just about 6 dealers that were closer than the one that had the Barcelona red with LED headlights and premium package that I wanted. Use sites like cars.com to search features that you want and hopefully something will pop up in a radius around you that you can go to or your local dealer can trade for.

 

The tow package is the best deal there is and can't be added after the fact, not sure it's possible to get a TRD without the tow package but make sure that is on your build list.

 

Yeah it has been standard equipment on V6 Models since 2018.

 

you won’t be able to “order from the factory”, instead you should be able to choose what configuration you want from what Toyota is building and shipping to your region. I got a 2020 TRD off-road and wanted Premium + Tech and bed lights. Other options/accessories that were added, which I didn’t mind too much was floor mats and mud guards but I took this one because it was available and they were willing to negotiate on it.
