Happy Holidays folks. The kiddo is probably going to flip her lid tomorrow morning. The kitchen setup is sure to go over well. We can’t pry her away from the one at the local library. I still figure we have this one as an easy year as she is only 2 years old. Next year will be different with all the Santa stuff...

Did receive a present from a new friend in Moscow Idaho. He was close with my brother. So, he sent me some Cougar Gold.




This stuff is amazing. So, I decided to experiment with it by making my first ever batch of Mac and Cheese.

Want to give a shout-out to 2 people I've come across doing some very cool 'above and beyond' stuff.

@Uphillshunter for reaching out to a CL seller in his area, arranging a meet and picking up CVs I was eyeing. Didn't ask he just did it!

@Kwikvette for offering to help a fairly new member (@theophelias) install his leaf springs. On Christmas day no less (and in the drizzle of Monterey Bay Area weather).

TW sticks together and always seems to be willing to help out, damn near immediately in most cases (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/operation_sloppytaco.642496/). Awesome community glad to be a part of.

Holy hells bells! It was all pandalerium up In here! Things have finally calmed down to the point where I can stuff something down mah gullet. Kids are amazing, but I think I’ll stick to having 1. I don’t think I could handle having more of these grommets fighting each other over presents and attention...

Try twins, one of each. It's still hectic here, unicorns and trains. Can't wait till my pops and brother get here. That's when the real present giving starts; sheet metal tools (brother), grill stuff (pops), and truck stuff (me!).

 

Fuck, went out for a smoke and came into my kids who had opened all of the presents for family members who have not arrived yet.

 

Damn that is one Mexican tree. Just need some ornaments made out of empty corona and tecate cans and a Virgin Mary.
