Yep. Been there and gravity usually wins. It's usually that moment when I think to myself "This is a really bad idea but I'm special". Then I break something and realize I'm just an idiot. lol

The really funny thing is as soon as my rigs fixed I can easily convince myself I'm special again. I've been special so many times my rigs ended up with a ton of stronger aftermarket parts because of it. lol

What a great read! You will not find a more quicker and successful recovery response than this. Well done to all of those involved and quite amazed by the OP for trekking 11miles in total darkness. #skippingLegday4life

Surround this plot with some beer, women, and the OP fighting off this wolf creek actor and it would make a great low budget flick that I would watch.

Wasn't really stuck per se but @Kwikvette and I did a cruise around Hollister Hills yesterday and he got in a precarious teetering position after sliding down the steep hill a ways. Was pretty sketchy but the photos don't do it justice as usual lol. Just needed a yank forward with a snatch strap. He's 2wd so couldn't use the front wheels to pull forward

Could go different ways about it; like you said, and I quote

"You're a pubic hair from tipping over"

I'd venture to say it's just the Taco lean our 1st gens suffer from :anonymous:

Oh and, my phone went into landscape....I was on TW at that moment.

I can tell from the drivers seat prospective picture that he was in a VERY uncomfortable position.

I was on TW as @eon_blue called over the radio that he was turning around.

At the same time, I had these thoughts "if I roll over, I'm buying a 4R and solid axle swapping this bitch"

Alas, he came to the rescue.

Closing the door on the passenger side to grab my shackle and snatch strap was an ass puckering moment

I meant to say "ass hair" but pubic hair was the only thing that came to mind at that moment lol
