    Quick question, probably heard alot. Dont hate. So I got a Pro Comp 65205k leveling kit for my 2019 sr5 4x4 for Christmas. The guy at 4 Wheel Parts said this was correct but the information on it says 2005 - 2011 tacoma. Is it still usable on a 2019? Is it the same bolt patterns for the front spacer or is it completely wrong..

    It's usable, but the problem is the 05-15 models sat 1" lower, so when you level a 16+ with a 2nd gen kit, it sits high in the front.

    So 3" front, 1" rear will have a reverse rake. But this was a standard level with the 2nd gen tacomas.

    Ideally, you want 2-1/4" front and 1" rear.

    Also, if you do a leveling kit on a 4x4 model, it will need a ECGS bushing on the axle, as the lift puts strain on the cv axle causing an annoying vibration.

    Lastly, most leveling kits come with a diff drop spacer, do not install this.

    It has no "Pro" only cons. I have installed many leveling kits and we used to always use the front diff drops, until the 16's came out. I put the diff drop with the leveling kit and we were surpised to see the diff vibes right away.

    The strain on the front axles didn't change with the diff drop, and many leveling kit manufacturers started to add instructions to NOT install the diff drops on the offroad models.

    Next it lowers the impact point of the differential, and if you bottom the skid plate out, it rams the front diff into the oil pan.

    Lastly, it rotates the diff rather than entirely droping it, meaning the pinion is pointed at a poor angle. This hasn't resulted in any failures that I've seen, but can't be good for driveline vibrations.

    No diff drop has ever stopped the axle vibration from lifting, so it's basically a waste of money and time.
