The six year old lost her shit when she opened her gift from Santa. “THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!! I ASKED SANTA FOR THIS!”

She tucked this note into her elf’s arms weeks before Christmas:
    BC2FFE37-2DEF-475E-90BE-BC3AC28A8860.jpg

And this is what she was asking for. I had no idea this was a thing until I looked up what she wrote on the note.

They are so strange at that age. I came into these kid’s lives when the smallest female child was two.

But, then again... I went from zero kids to five kids in my life. Everything was and still is kinda strange.

My boys, 12 & 14 had a good Christmas. The young one about half way through opening gifts said damn dad you really outdid yourself this year. They didn’t get a lot of stuff but what they got was nice stuff. Later in the day I walked in the house and he’s asking mom “mom, don’t you think this was the best Christmas ever?” Worth it.

I don't have one anymore. I had a 99 back in 2001. Sold it around 2004. I just started using gixxerphil as a SN back then and just kept it.

I spent the day in pajamas and took a 3 hour nap with my dog while wife and kids went to in-laws. Pretty good day overall

What size did you have? 600’s were more than anyone really needed, 750’s were perfect in between and 1k was just insane

I’ve always ridden Ducati but I sold Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki. Kawasaki was junk. I used to ride the shit out of the used bikes we would get and I could fuck people up on a 600 gsxr. The look on their face would be priceless. Still a bit squirrelly compared to the Ducati

That’s really all anyone needs. When I was selling bikes I would try convincing new riders that they couldn’t even handle a 600 when they insisted they needed a 1k. Nobody needs a 1k. I would rather ride my bike to it’s absolute limit, which on the street you won’t do even on a 6, than have my bike out power my ability. I’m not into 1/4 bullshit, I’m all about the turns. As far as I’m concerned 1/4 mile is just the beginning of the race.

It was a fun bike(I got my first in 1984 at 5). If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with the 750 though. Just my thoughts.
