The Official Gym & Fitness Thread

Haven't done shit since Tuesday, but I am starting to feel better so hopefully I'll be back at it tomorrow. Of course the first day back programming is a super heavy squat day and max weight farmers carries

 

Just been trying to stay as healthy while unhealthy as I can during all the holiday meals and meet ups and blah blah. Making healthy plates at other peoples houses to not be rude by saying no to everything. Plus gyms have some weird hours during holidays so it’s been hard to get a workout in

 

Managed to keep my diet on point all week. Win!

 

Also switched teams and bought some vans. Can’t say I like them any more or less than chucks. Equally as flat and non-squishy so they do the trick for DL.

 

The end of the statement wasn’t quite what I expected at the beginning... LOL

i get lucky with a gym thats open 24/7. kind of like a private gym really, its at work and always accessible to me.

 

I’ve changed my mind on a lot of things, but I’ll be a lifetime member of team Iloveboobies.

I do have a friend/gym bro who just came out though. That’s been... weird.

I’m about to change gyms anyway. Found a warehouse style gym that has logs and atlas stones and more free weights. They all have no sign up fee’s going on now so gonna make sure to find a gym I’m happy with. The new one is open 24/7 as well.

 

I have no lie to tell. It’s is extremely weird for me. That’s as far into that conversation as I will go on this forum.

But apparently it’s more weird for him. He hasn’t told me directly, but has many others. He’s blocked me from his social media. Pretty clear he doesn’t think I know or want me to know.

do I just hit him with a “I know you’re gay. Stop being fucking weird.”? Or what?

All I can say is its a big deal for people to come out. I think the hardest part is really learning to be honest with yourself as well as obviously that fear of how other people (especially people you love and care about) will receive you.
Its traumatic to go through even if people support you. I bit the bullet young, can’t imagine what it would be like coming out at an older age.

If you support him just show your support. He may just be worried he’s going to lose his guy friends. Especially guy friends he may hang out in a locker room with. Some guys just have a tendency to assume because you’re gay you’re a pervert that checks everyone out.

He’d probably appreciate being told by someone its not a big deal and letting him know it doesn’t change things.

 

Orrrrr you just lift weights together and not worry about what happens in the bedroom.
