Lance with or without EPO?

But lance Armstrong in the wrong gear will beat me in the right gear any day. Sure it isnt the best combo but it's still faster than a fat guy with no power.

 

Think about when things break.... usually at high torque moments. The bigger the tires, the higher the torque on the drivetrain to get them rolling. Dropping back to stock final ratio puts you back to stock torque on the drivetrain (before increased power of course).

But increased power and increased tire size are double whammies on drivetrain torque.

 

I can't comment on needing new gears, but I can't say the truck truly has never, ever, ever felt this easy to get moving, driving, accelerating.

The more I drive the more I know this will be, without a doubt, the ultimate system for on road, off road, power, and drive-ability.
That's where it shines like no other, the part throttle boost takes away all the fear of increasing speed at low rpm.
There is no drag. No wind up feeling like our SC Tundra has.

Thanks for all the replies about regearing. To be clear, I was considering regearing before FI was even an option and I’m on stock tires. Tire size was (sort of) irrelevant to my question; although I can say that getting bigger tires one day is a definite maybe! I understand that new gears are what we do when we get bigger tires, but for our trucks, I feel like regearing needs to happen even on stock tires. Sounds like Mat answered my question. From his comment, it seems like FI will render regearing on stock tires less necessary.

 

I really didn’t notice much difference between stock and my 285/75/16 on my 6MT. If there was a difference OVTune fixed it. Still pulled all the same hills in the same gears before and after tires and before and after tuned.

Dyno run to show boost. This is lowest boost setting at about 5 psi.

This is starting at 2000. It's instant.
Testing will be from about 1400rpm later. Lowest rpm I can reasonably lock on the dyno

 

Let's shoot for a Jan 21st release so I can buy myself turbos for my birthday.

 

For a guy that’s never had a boasted engine but wants his first, what does this graph mean? I just kept looking for torque and hp readings

 

He is showing boost pressures over the rpm range. Instant spool at 2k rpm.
